Socks's Adventure Chapter Three (SA)

Warm sun on Socks's pelt awoke her. "Uh..?" she muttered blinking her eyes open, "Sun high! Already?! Uh...I better say bye to my house folk..." she walked into the 'kitchen'-what the house folk called it and purred rubbing her self against the house folks legs...The house folk kicked her and she hissed. I know they wont miss me...she thought to herself.
"Well hello, Ms.Lazybones." sneered Trigger,"We best be going,it's already sun high!" They sprinted off into the forest almost crashing into Graystripe. A dark brown tabby tom with amber eyes was with him.
"Is this what you wanted to show me, Graystripe?" growled the tabby tom.
"Yes,Tigerclaw. This is Socks,"he nodded toward Socks,"And Trigger."
"More kitty pets?!"Tigerclaw half muttered to himself, "Bluestar is going soft..."
"Uh... well...Let's get back to camp..."murmured Graystripe. They walked through a cold rushing stream. Tigerclaw bounded over it easily along with Trigger and Graystripe.Socks stood on the other side i CANT get my paws wet, I don't wanna show up looking like a stray... she thought.
"Graystripe! You brought a kitty pet whose afraid to get her paws wet?" he sneered at Socks. Graystripe bounded back across the stream.
"Here let me help." Socks could feel Graystripe's pelt brushing hers. He guided her across the river leaping agilely onto pebbles just big enough for a paw hold."There ya go!" Socks saw an emotion flicker across Triggers face;was it...jealousy?!
"We're at camp."growled Tigerclaw in a deep voice.
"Aha! Socks is it?" called a blue gray she cat.
"Err...yes. And you are..?"she bowed to the she cat trying to be polite.
"Bluestar, the leader of Thunder Clan.Nice to meet you." she said politely.
"It's an honor to meet you!"Socks dipped her head.
"Come,It is time for your naming ceremony,where you are made an apprentice."
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey here beneath high rock!"yowled Bluestar.
"A kitty pet?!" a she cat hissed in disbelief.
Bluestar ignored the protests "Socks,former kitty pet will be known as Sootpaw in honor of her soot colored pelt!"she cried."And Trigger shall be known as Bramblepaw!"
